We built the hand sanitizer we couldn't find anywhere else

Cloudylane started with a pretty simple problem: we wanted a hand sanitizer that felt as good as it worked — something small and pretty enough for a bag, gentle enough for daily use, and scented well enough that you'd actually want to reach for it. It didn't exist. So we made it.

Where it started

Every bottle we owned felt like a chore

Stripped skin, that same sharp alcohol smell, packaging that looked like it belonged in a hospital drawer — we used hand sanitizer every single day and dreaded it every single time. We kept waiting for a brand to fix it. When nobody did, we decided we'd rather spend a year figuring it out ourselves than carry another bottle we didn't like.

How we work

We're perfectionists, and honestly, we're okay with that

We're not chemists who fell into skincare — we're consumers first. Every formula gets tested on our own hands for weeks before it's allowed anywhere near a bottle. If a scent fades too fast, if a texture feels sticky, if the packaging doesn't make us smile when we dig it out of a bag, it goes back to the drawing board. Cute was never going to be the excuse for cutting corners.
