We built the hand sanitizer we couldn't find anywhere else

Kloudie started with a pretty simple problem: we wanted a hand sanitizer that felt as good as it worked, something small and pretty enough for a bag, gentle enough for daily use, and scented well enough that you'd actually want to reach for it. It didn't exist. So we made it.

We wanted a bottle you'd actually want to look at

Stripped skin, that same sharp alcohol smell, packaging that looked like it belonged in a hospital drawer. We used hand sanitizer every single day and dreaded it every single time. We kept waiting for a brand to fix it. When nobody did, we decided we'd rather spend a year figuring it out ourselves than carry another bottle we didn't like.

We're perfectionists

We're not chemists who fell into skincare. We're consumers first, our CEO included: they carry a bottle in their bag just like everyone else here. Every formula gets tested on our own hands for weeks before it's allowed anywhere near a bottle. If a scent fades too fast, if a texture feels sticky, if the packaging doesn't make us smile when we dig it out of a bag, it goes back to the drawing board. Cute was never going to be the excuse for cutting corners.
